As the Journal of MGUMST enters a new year of publication, it is time to look back but, more importantly, at the future of medicine and health-related issues.
Journals are meant to be a platform for implication of research of medical community which consists of students, teachers and fellow researchers. Sometimes the lay public may also be interested in a particular topic. These perform may then announce the recommendation of the researcher in the press which then becomes a topic of discussion in the community.
The journal thus acts as a forum for healthy debates which results in the betterment of progress in the field of medicine.
We hope that our Journal of MGUMST will also become such a platform in the coming years. We invite all our readers of the journal to write articles of the research work but also put up new ideas. These new ideas, no matter how fanciful they may seem, will then open up new vistas for research.
The path forward comes for innovation and hopefully the Journal of MGUMST will be known as an incubator of innovation.
